About this scholarship
Outstanding U.S. medical students may apply for mentored urology research fellowships of up to 12 months during the award period of July 1 through June 30. Proposals must detail high-intensity and incremental research effort periods.
Fellows receive a $4,000 stipend to support the mentored research experience with a world-class urologic scientist.
Applications are submitted through ProposalCentral each spring; the page showed applications closed for the July 2026-June 2027 cycle in July 2026.
The AUA Medical Student Fellowship Program, sponsored by multiple urology endowments and sections, has run since 2010.
