About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a planning-related program at a U.S. institution during the 2026-27 academic year may apply. Applicants must be APA student members (free), U.S. citizens or permanent residents, demonstrate financial need and commitment to planning, and not have previously received an APA Foundation-administered scholarship or fellowship.
The 2026 cycle awards twenty scholarships of $5,000 each to students who show academic promise and financial need.
Complete the online application with two letters of recommendation by May 15 each year. The 2026-27 window closed May 15, 2026.
