About this scholarship
Occupational therapy and OTA students enrolled full-time in AOTA-accredited or developing professional (master's or OTD) or OTA programs who have completed at least one year of OT coursework may apply through one portal. One application automatically matches applicants to 50+ general, state-partnership, Pi Theta Epsilon, and named endowed scholarships.
Individual awards range from $150 to $5,000 depending on the matched fund. AOTF has awarded more than 1,200 scholarships since 1965.
Applications open each January and close in February; the 2026 cycle is closed and the 2026-27 cycle opens January 2027. Required materials include a resume, personal statement, essay questions, and three references (academic advisor, character reference, and program director).
