About this scholarship
High school seniors planning to enroll full time in college STEM programs with interest in nuclear science and technology may apply. Up to 10 incoming freshman scholarships of about $1,000 are awarded each year.
Recipients must join ANS before funds are distributed. The award is part of ANS's broader scholarship program, which exceeds $250,000 annually across all categories.
Applications open November 1 and close April 1. Notifications go out between April 15 and May 15, with disbursement after August 20.
ANS uses these scholarships to recruit talented students into nuclear science and engineering careers.
