AHRI Rees Scholarship Foundation

Students enrolled in an institutionally accredited HVACR or water-heating technician training program may apply. A separate veterans track and a Florida-only Donald L. Frendberg track also exist for eligible applicants.

Scholarships of up to $2,000 are paid directly to the school's accounting office for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Recipients also receive a free NATE Ready-to-Work exam. Funds may cover up to two semesters.

Applications are accepted year-round online with review deadlines of May 1 for spring semester and September 1 for fall semester. Submit a completed application, 500-word essay, two recommendation letters, and official transcripts.

Founded in 2003, the AHRI Rees Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $1.1 million to over 700 HVACR students with support from AHRI member companies.
