About this scholarship

Undergraduate and graduate students who are Hellenic descent or Phil-Hellenes may apply if they or a parent or grandparent holds paid 2026 membership in the AHEPA family (AHEPA, Daughters of Penelope, Sons of Pericles, or Maids of Athena). Applicants must attend or plan to attend full time at an accredited U.S. college, university, or graduate program in the award year and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.

Awards reach up to $2,500 and are paid directly to recipients. Separate tracks cover high school seniors and freshmen, sophomores and juniors, graduate students, seminary study, and named donor funds within the same national application.

Applications open January 2 and are due by mail with proof of delivery by March 31 each year. Required materials include official transcripts on a 4.0 scale, two sealed recommendation letters, a passport photo, and optional financial-need documentation.

The AHEPA Educational Foundation is the charitable arm of the Order of AHEPA, the largest Greek-American fraternal organization in the United States.
