AGA National Academic Scholarship

High school seniors and undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in government financial management fields (accounting, auditing, budgeting, economics, finance, information systems, or public administration) may apply. Applicants need a 3.0+ GPA, an essay on government financial management, transcripts, and recommendation letters including one from an AGA member. Free AGA student membership is available for non-members.

Each National Academic Scholarship is worth $3,000 toward full-time or part-time study in an eligible financial management discipline.

Apply through the AGA national scholarship portal. BigFuture lists the 2026 cycle opening April 1 and closing June 11, 2026; the chapters landing page was slow but the program remains listed as active.
