AAPG Foundation Field Camp Scholarship

Undergraduate geoscience students at U.S. universities may apply for funding to attend summer field camp. The program supports eligible students pursuing hands-on geological field training.

Each award is a one-time $3,000 grant toward field camp costs. The 2025-26 cycle funded dozens of students for summer 2026 field camps.

Apply online through Submittable using AAPG credentials during the annual November 1 through February 1 window.

The AAPG Foundation administers this program with support from donors including L. Austin Weeks and Marta Weeks-Wulf to invest in future geoscience leaders.
