Support Ontario Youth Education Scholarship

Registered Ontario apprentices with an active Registered Training Agreement in listed Red Seal trades (electrical, plumbing, motive power, millwright, welding, sheet metal, and others) may apply. Applicants must have a college Student ID from their training delivery agent.

Ten scholarships of $500 each help cover in-class training fees. Funds are paid directly to the apprentice's college or training delivery agent, not to the individual.

Applications open September 15 and close October 31 annually. Winners are announced in early January. The online form requires trade details, RTA client ID, employer information, and career essays.

Support Ontario Youth administers the program with sponsorship from the Ontario Electrical League and Milwaukee HEAVY DUTY for select trade categories.
