Sons of Norway Foundation in Canada Post-Secondary Bursaries

Canadian residents pursuing post-secondary education at Canadian institutions may apply for Sons of Norway Foundation in Canada bursaries. Undergraduate bursaries support first degree or diploma studies; separate forms cover certificate and apprenticeship programs. Funding is available only to Canadian individuals.

Typical awards are $1,200 for undergraduate studies and $1,000 for certificate or apprenticeship programs. No more than three awards are granted to any one individual over time.

Post-secondary bursary applications use Form CF001 PS (university/college) or CF001 CA (certificate/trade) and are due August 31 annually.

SONFIC is the Canadian arm of the Norwegian heritage fraternal organization, providing educational bursaries alongside cultural grants for lodges and affiliate groups.
