About this scholarship
Open to graduating law students and law graduates of UBC, UVic, or Thompson Rivers University, plus other law school graduates with a real or substantial connection to British Columbia. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic and other qualifications for full-time graduate legal studies.
The scholarship provides $20,000 to support a full-time graduate legal studies program benefiting the student, the province, and the legal profession. Funds must be used in the year awarded; recipients may hold other awards up to tuition limits.
Applications are due annually by April 30. Submit application materials to the Law Society Credentials Committee in Vancouver, including proposed graduate work and its significance.
The Law Society of British Columbia offers this scholarship to encourage advanced legal scholarship among BC-connected law graduates.
