About this scholarship
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students residing in Canada (excluding Quebec residents on some tracks) may apply for master's study at French public universities under the Graduate Scholars in France program. Up to 10 scholars are selected annually.
Benefits include a waiver of national registration fees (typically €243 to €3,770 per year depending on program), housing support, BGF scholar status, cultural networking, and Campus France in-country assistance. Some partner universities may add stipends.
Applications open in early December and close February 2 for the following academic year, with decisions in May-June. The 2025-26 campaign is closed.
