Dr. Whitmer Firor Music Scholarship

Saskatchewan instrumentalists, composers, and arrangers pursuing music study abroad may apply for roughly $1,000 to $5,000 (typically about $4,500) to attend qualified institutions outside the province. Applicants should demonstrate accomplishment and community involvement in Saskatchewan's music scene. Submit the PDF application by email or mail to Saskatoon Community Foundation by June 15. The scholarship was endowed in 1995 by jazz pianist and cardiologist Whit Firor to help Saskatchewan musicians study internationally.
