Creative Spark Vancouver

Emerging artists of any age in any artistic discipline who are residents of the City of Vancouver or members of the Musqueam, Squamish, or Tsleil-Waututh First Nations may apply. Registered organizations and businesses are ineligible.

Individual artists may receive up to $3,000 (collectives up to $5,000) for youth-engaged arts projects serving ages 5-18. Funds cover artist fees, materials, supplies, rentals, and honoraria.

Two intakes per year: spring (approximately April 30) and fall (approximately August/September). Applications are submitted online through ArtStarts. A final report is due within 30 days of project completion.

Creative Spark Vancouver is funded by the City of Vancouver and administered by ArtStarts in Schools, which supports arts education across British Columbia.
