Create — Emerging

Manitoba professional artists, professional arts groups, and Indigenous Knowledge Keepers may apply to the Create program. The Emerging tier supports artists in the early stages of a professional practice creating or developing new work or undertaking creation-based residencies.

Emerging applicants may request up to $7,500 toward research, creation, or development of works in progress.

Deadlines are March 20 and October 10 each year, submitted through the MANIPOGO online system. Register your profile at least five to ten business days before applying.

The Manitoba Arts Council funds original artistic expression by provincial professional artists across disciplines.
