CINS Undergraduate Scholarship

Canadian citizens or landed immigrants enrolled in an undergraduate degree at a Canadian post-secondary institution may apply for a travel bursary to study at a Nordic post-secondary institution or summer program. Applicants must include at least one course in the host country's official Nordic language.

Up to three awards of $2,500 are made annually. Funds support study abroad and cannot be applied to travel or study already completed.

Apply online through the CINS portal by 15 March each year. Applications are judged on applicant qualifications, program quality, and potential to strengthen Canada-Nordic academic and cultural links.

Administered by the Canadian Initiative for Nordic Studies to promote undergraduate exchange with Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland.
