CIM Foundation Scotiabank Scholarship

Canadian citizens completing their third year full time in mining or minerals-related undergraduate programs at Canadian universities may apply for the Scotiabank Scholarship through the CIM Foundation.

One $2,000 award recognizes academic achievement and commitment to a mining or minerals career. The recipient is announced in September and must remain enrolled in the program to receive funds.

Complete application packages are due April 30 by email or mail to the CIM Foundation manager. Materials include the application form, professor support letter, 400-word career essay, resume, and transcript.

CIM Foundation supports mining education on behalf of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum with corporate donor funding from Scotiabank.
