About this scholarship
Canadian JD, LLB, or BCL students enrolled at a Canadian law faculty may submit an anonymized essay on the administration of justice. The 2026 theme is reimagining law and justice through restorative approaches.
The winner receives a CAD $1,000 stipend and may present at CIAJ's annual conference.
Applications are due June 30 each year. The 2026 deadline had passed when checked on July 14, 2026.
CIAJ created this prize in 2013 to honor former executive director Christine Huglo Robertson.
