Calgary Foundation Student Awards

Students in the Calgary region and across Alberta may search and apply for 48+ named scholarships, awards, and bursaries through the Calgary Foundation's unified Student Awards Portal. Eligibility varies by fund (high school, undergraduate, graduate/professional, field of study, financial need, community involvement, athletics). Most funds require Canadian citizenship or permanent residence and enrollment at a CRA-qualified post-secondary institution.

Individual award amounts range from about $1,000 to $10,000+ with many renewable multi-year bursaries. The portal lets applicants filter by education level, high school division, institution, field, and criteria before completing fund-specific applications.

Online forms open mid-February for the upcoming academic year; individual deadlines fall between May and June (e.g., May 15, May 30, June 1, June 30). One searchable portal covers all endowed funds rather than separate external applications per award.
