Black Canadian Scholarship Fund

Black Canadian high school seniors graduating from an Ottawa high school with a 75-90% average in six Grade 11 or 12 university/college/mixed courses may apply. Applicants must be Black Canadian citizens or landed immigrants residing in Ottawa, admitted to a recognized Canadian university, with demonstrated financial need and community service hours (excluding graduation-required service).

Annual competitive scholarships of varying amounts support academic excellence and community leadership among young Black Ottawans.

Download and submit the application form by May 31 each year to the Ottawa Community Foundation.

Established in 1996, the Black Canadian Scholarship Fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Ottawa.
