About this scholarship
College sophomores, juniors, or seniors, or graduate students, with a 3.0 or higher GPA pursuing hydropower-related study at an accredited U.S. college may apply. One award of $2,500 is given for the academic year.
Apply online through Scholarship America between January 2 and February 12. Eligible fields include engineering, biology, fisheries, hydrology, communications, and environmental studies related to the waterpower industry.
The National Hydropower Association established this scholarship in 2008 to encourage students to join the U.S. hydropower workforce.
