About this scholarship
High school seniors at eligible Delaware schools in the Newark area who are U.S. citizens and not related to a Newark Rotary Club member may apply. The freshman-year scholarship is $6,000, paid in two installments toward tuition at the recipient's chosen college.
Selection weighs character, academics, community service, extracurricular activities, and a written essay. Teacher, volunteer supervisor, and counselor evaluations must be emailed directly by references. Submit applications by March 20.
The Newark Rotary Club raises funds year-round to support deserving local graduates.
