NEMLA Summer Fellowships

NeMLA members who are untenured junior faculty, graduate students, or independent scholars may apply; senior faculty may also apply. The fellowship supports summer travel for work-in-progress research and does not cover conference travel, equipment, food, or office expenses.

Awards are up to $1,200. Email fellowship@nemla.org a two-page project description with timeline, an itemized budget, a CV, and two letters from scholars in the field.

The Northeast Modern Language Association Summer Fellowship helps members advance research that requires travel.
