Nels Andersen Scholarship

Saginaw County, Michigan residents who are high school seniors or college undergraduates with a minimum 2.5 GPA and who are pursuing early childhood development, elementary education, or Career and Technical Education training may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Former Saginaw County Head Start participants, parents, or employees may receive preference. Full-time enrollment is preferred. Award amounts vary.

Selection weighs financial need, essay, scholastic record, community and work involvement, and leadership.
