NEHA/AAS Undergraduate Scholarship

Undergraduate juniors or seniors enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university (or U.S. territory or freely associated state) in a recognized environmental health sciences curriculum or coursework qualifying them for the RS or REHS exam, with at least 60 academic credits completed and intent to pursue an environmental health career, may apply for NEHA/AAS Undergraduate Scholarships.

Two awards of $2,650 each are given: one in honor of Dr. Sheila Davidson Pressley and one in honor of Dr. Carolyn Hester Harvey. Awards apply directly toward tuition and fees for junior or senior year.

Complete the online application with one faculty letter of support, an official or unofficial transcript, a current resume, and required essays. Incomplete applications are not considered.

The National Environmental Health Association and American Academy of Sanitarians offer the program to encourage early commitment to environmental health careers.
