About this scholarship

Students of Iranian heritage pursuing post-secondary study at accredited institutions in British Columbia, including universities, colleges, and trade schools. Grants are need-based rather than grades-only, and include mentorship and advisory support alongside funding.

Grant amounts vary. Apply online with supporting documents (including proof of acceptance and financial status) by May 15. Selected applicants complete a panel interview and reference checks; payments go directly to the institution.

Neekoo Philanthropic Society has run the program since 2012 to give Iranian students financial breathing room and career support beyond a cheque.
