NDS Klussendorf/McKown Scholarship

First-, second-, or third-year students at a two- or four-year college or university in the United States or Canada who are majoring in dairy science, animal science, agribusiness, or a related field and preparing for a dairy-industry career may apply.

Dairy Shrine awards seven $1,500 scholarships annually: three from the Klussendorf fund and four from the McKown fund. Selection weighs activities, experience, interest in showing dairy cattle, and future plans.

Apply through Dairy Shrine during the March 1 through April 15 application window. McKown scholarships give preference to youth from predominantly Holstein backgrounds, and past, present, or potential dairy cattle judging team members receive special consideration.
