About this scholarship
Grades 9 through 12 students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary and attend school in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or on a U.S. overseas military base may apply for the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing High School Award. National and regional Winner, Honorable Mention, and Rising Star tiers carry varying prizes, including cash, resources, and recognition; total recipients and dollar amounts vary.
Applicants must be at least 13 and receive parent or guardian approval if under 18. U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a U.S. Tax ID or Social Security Number qualify for national awards. Apply through the free AiC Community.
The award honors computing-related achievements and encourages students to pursue technology fields.
