About this scholarship
U.S. citizens or permanent residents ages 18 to 35 (age 17 if entering college the following academic year) who are young adult cancer survivors or current patients and are attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational institution may apply for the National Collegiate Cancer Foundation Survivor Scholarship.
Competitive $1,000 awards are granted; the number of recipients varies. Selection weighs a will-to-win attitude, survivorship story, financial need, commitment to education, and recommendation quality.
Submit a complete application, transcript or grade report, resume, three assigned essays, one peer recommendation, and signed authorization.
