About this scholarship
Employees or children of employees of an NCBFAA Regular Member firm who are high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate students, or eligible employees accepted to or enrolled at an accredited college or university, and who intend to pursue or are pursuing a career in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or related international trade or supply chain fields, may apply for the NCBFAA Annual Scholarship.
Two scholarships of $5,000 each are awarded annually. Funds go directly to the institution for tuition and student housing. Recipients also receive round-trip airfare and one night of hotel stay for the award presentation at the NCBFAA Annual Conference.
Mail a complete package including a typed, double-spaced essay of 1,000 to 2,000 words with bibliography on the assigned topic, an employment verification letter from an NCBFAA Regular Member firm, proof of acceptance or enrollment with class year and major, and a personal statement of 100 words or less on career goals and research approach.
