About this scholarship

Western University offers this one-year award to National Scholarship Program candidates who complete the interview process but are not selected for a National Scholarship or Schulich Leader Scholarship, and who accept admission to the main campus. Candidates need a minimum 90% average, a secondary school nomination, a short essay, and an interview.

Up to 50 awards of $2,000 each are available. Recipients remain eligible for Western admission scholarships.

Candidates must show strong academics plus broad interests and leadership through school or community activities.
