About this scholarship

High school seniors nationwide may enter the National Conscience Month Essay Contest sponsored by the American Meditation Institute. Write an original essay of 1,000 words or less about a real or imagined situation where conscience guided, or did not guide, your thoughts, words, and actions, including results and what you learned.

One winner receives $2,795. No membership or purchase is required.

Submit through the online form by the published deadline. The committee notifies the winner by email, and submissions may be featured in National Conscience Month programming.
