National 4-H Beekeeping Essay Contest

Active 4-H members who have not placed first, second, or third nationally in prior years may enter the Foundation for the Preservation of Honey Bees essay contest.

National prizes are $750 for first, $500 for second, and $250 for third; state offices forward winners. Amounts vary by placement.

Submit a 750-1,000 word essay on the annual topic, with bibliography and AI-use attestation, through your state 4-H coordinator. State deadlines vary.
