Nathan Richard Cowan Memorial Award

Queen's University bursary for a second-, third-, or fourth-year student-athlete in Smith Engineering or Economics with financial need. In even-numbered years it goes to Smith Engineering students; in odd-numbered years, to Economics students in Arts and Science. Preference for members of the Queen's Sailing Team who may aim for a higher level of competition. The award follows OUA and U SPORTS athletic-award rules.

The amount varies. Apply with a résumé to Financial Aid and Awards by October 31.

Established in 2002 by family, friends, Smith Engineering, and the Department of Economics in memory of Nathan Cowan (1977-2002), B.Sc., B.A. (Economics) 2002.
