About this scholarship

College juniors, seniors, and graduate students in the United States majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, metallurgical engineering, materials science, or related surface-science fields may apply for NASF Foundation scholarships.

Awards of $1,500 are given based on career interest in surface finishing, scholarship, achievement, and motivation. Financial need is not required. The number of awards varies each year.

Undergraduate applicants must be junior standing or above when applying and senior standing for the next academic year.
