About this scholarship
Graduating high school seniors in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area with a 3.0 or higher GPA, evidence of involvement in golf, and verifiable acceptance to an accredited college may apply for the Napoleon Hornbuckle Golf Scholarship. The award targets talented young minority golfers pursuing higher education.
One recipient receives a one-time $3,000 award.
Applications open in February and close in May. The Hornbuckle family established this scholarship to honor Napoleon Hornbuckle, a business leader and golfer who introduced the sport to young minority men and women through the National Minority Junior Golf Association.
