Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons with protected or refugee status registered as undergraduate or graduate students at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine who are Ontario residents under OSAP rules, demonstrate financial need, and show interest in microbiology may apply.

The award is $2,500.
