About this scholarship
Current 12th-grade students enrolled in a school in Los Angeles County may apply for the My Story Matters IMPACT Scholarship.
Five $1,000 awards are given annually. Funds may be used without restriction to support personal or educational goals.
Complete the full application and write a personal narrative essay of 750 to 1,500 words covering influential people and settings, struggles and accomplishments, lessons learned, and intended community impact. Recipients must attend and present their story at a live IMPACT event.
The scholarship encourages high school students to write and share personal narratives that inspire community impact.
