About this scholarship
High school musicians who play a musical instrument and reside in Fairfield County, Connecticut, may apply for the Bob Genualdi and Dorothy Straub Scholarship from Music for Youth, which supports musical study in high school or college.
One $1,000 non-renewable award is given annually, typically at the end of June.
Complete the online application and submit a video recording of two pieces of your choice. Finalists may be asked to meet by Zoom with a Scholarship Committee representative. Include current and future music plans and activities from the past year.
The scholarship was established in memory of Dorothy Straub and Robert Genualdi.
