Murray Pritchard Memorial Award for Halifax Navy League Branch

Awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student who has completed at least one year of study at Saint Mary's University, has been a member of Navy League Cadets Corps Mic Mac with two years of active service, and is a former Cadet of a Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps with four years of active service. Applicants must submit a written essay on Maritime Affairs (assessed by the Financial Aid Office) and provide proof of active service.

If no applicant meets those criteria, a full-time Saint Mary's student with at least one year of study who has been an active member of the Halifax Branch of the Navy League of Canada for three or more years may be considered. All applicants must show satisfactory academic achievement (GPA 2.0+) and community involvement.

One award of varying value is available. It is non-renewable, though an individual may be selected more than once.
