Murphy Memorial Scholarship

Montana residents who have completed enough credits to be considered college sophomores, have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and are majoring in a horticulture-related field (such as horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, botany, plant science, forestry, agronomy, or related subjects) may apply for the Montana Federation of Garden Clubs Murphy Memorial Scholarship.

Awards are $500; the number of recipients varies each year.

Applications must include contact information, a transcript, letters of reference from two instructors, and a letter of application with a short autobiography and future plans. Materials must be received before May 1; winners are notified by the end of May.
