About this scholarship

Open to outstanding students entering the UBC Faculty of Education who attended secondary school in Comox or Courtenay and demonstrate financial need.

Award amounts vary. Funding comes from an endowment established by the estate of Muriel Roberts (1931–2020).

There is no separate student application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Education.

Muriel Roberts (B.Ed. 1979) spent most of her teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Comox, BC.
