About this scholarship
U.S. citizen high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA for 10th and 11th grades and minimum ACT scores of 29 in Math and 25 in English (or SAT equivalents of 950 Math and 750 English) who plan to enroll in an ABET-EAC accredited engineering program at an approved Missouri school, approved transfer program, or approved out-of-state engineering school may apply for the MSPE Western Chapter Scholarship.
The chapter awards at least two $3,000 scholarships annually.

- Essay of no more than 300 words about engineering interests, influences, specialization, and career goals
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Be a U.S. citizen at time of application
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) for 10th and 11th grades
- Minimum ACT scores: 29 Math, 25 English (or SAT 950 Math, 750 English)
- Must enroll in an ABET-EAC accredited engineering program (or qualifying pre-engineering transfer program)
- Official transcripts in a sealed envelope plus ACT/SAT score report
- At least two teacher letters of recommendation
- Applicant must reside in / attend school in a Western Chapter Missouri county (Platte, Clay, Ray, Carroll, Saline, Lafayette, Jackson, Cass, Johnson, Pettis, Benton, Henry)
