About this scholarship

Graduating high school seniors and eligible gap-year or deferred-enrollment students who reside in Mountain America Credit Union's service footprint in Utah, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, or Idaho may apply for the Elevate Scholarship. Membership is not required. Applicants must enroll full time at a qualifying institution with a Federal School Code for first-time higher education enrollment.

One hundred fifty recipients each receive $2,000, sent directly to eligible institutions. The scholarship may not be deferred.

Apply when the portal opens in mid-December. Selection weighs academic record, character, work ethic, community involvement, and leadership.
