Morehead State University Graduate Assistantship Program

Graduate students admitted to a Morehead State University graduate degree program may compete for graduate assistantships. Conditionally admitted students may hold an assistantship for one semester only until conditions are cleared. Recipients must enroll in and maintain nine graduate hours per semester, work an average of 20 hours per week, and keep a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Teaching assistants need 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.

The stipend is $10,000 per year for fall and spring, paid twice monthly. Over 90 assistantships are offered each year across departments. Availability and deadlines vary by program.
