Monica Combs Memorial Scholarship

Graduating seniors from Woodford County High School in Kentucky with a minimum 2.5 GPA may apply through the Blue Grass Community Foundation scholarship portal for the Monica Combs Memorial Scholarship.

One non-renewable $5,000 award is offered. Recipients should exemplify compassion, leadership, and friendship and plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school.

Submit the standard BGCF application plus a letter of recommendation from a friend by March 6 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Financial need may be considered.

Established in 2017, this scholarship honors Monica Combs, who died in 2006 at age 26, and recognizes students who share her selflessness and dedication to others.
