About this scholarship
First-time freshmen entering the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the fall may receive the Mocs Scholarship if they complete the UTC admissions file by December 1 with a 3.2 GPA and a 22 ACT super score (1100 SAT), and submit the online scholarship application by February 1.
The renewable award provides $3,000 per year for up to eight semesters with full-time enrollment, hour progression, and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. It may stack with Tennessee HOPE funds but not other UTC renewable scholarships.

- Submit ACT/SAT test scores to UTC Admissions by December 1, 2025
- Achieve a 3.2 GPA and 22 ACT Super Score (or 1100 SAT)
- Submit the online scholarship application via the MyUTC portal by February 1, 2026
- Must apply for both admission and scholarships (both applications required)
- Award is $3,000 per year; cannot be stacked with other renewable scholarships
- Must enter UTC in the fall.
- Renewal requires full-time enrollment, hour progression, and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Cannot be combined with other UTC renewable scholarships.
