About this scholarship
U.S. citizens enrolled full time at an accredited U.S. college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA may apply for the MK Library Scholarship.
One non-renewable $500 award is offered per cycle.
Write a 400- to 600-word essay on how you are making a positive impact on the world, climate, sustainability, or related topics, and include proof of enrollment or acceptance. Email the complete application packet to scholarship@mklibrary.com by August 31.
This scholarship supports students concerned about environmental issues, food sustainability, waste and recycling, and the future of life on earth.

- Original 400- to 600-word essay in PDF or Word format
- Currently enrolled or due to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college/university
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- U.S. citizenship required
- Proof of enrollment (transcript, acceptance letter, or tuition bill) as JPG/PDF
- Original essay submitted as PDF or Word document
- Headshot photo and brief biography required within two weeks if selected as winner
- Submit by email to scholarship@mklibrary.com with subject line 'Fall [Full Name] [College/University Name]'
- Award: $500 (taxable) to one student
- Email the complete application to scholarship@mklibrary.com with the specified subject line.
- Selected winner must provide a headshot photo and brief biography within two weeks.
