About this scholarship
Full-time U.S. high school students with a well-developed STEM research or innovation proposal may apply to the MIT THINK Scholars Program for mentorship and project funding.
Up to six finalists receive up to $1,000 in funding to implement a proposed project within one semester and a $1,000 budget. Finalists also receive weekly mentorship and may attend a four-day, all-expenses-paid visit to MIT's campus.
Submit a research proposal with background, goals, and an implementation plan by January 1. Projects must be feasible in science, technology, or engineering fields.
THINK is organized by MIT undergraduates for students who have researched a project background but need resources and guidance to carry it forward.
