Eligibility
About this scholarship
U.S. students in their final undergraduate year who plan to enter a graduate historic preservation program, or current graduate students in historic preservation (or a related program with a primary preservation emphasis) at a U.S. institution, may apply. Students who previously received the scholarship are not eligible.
The award includes up to $15,000 toward graduate tuition, a $5,000 summer National Trust internship stipend after the first year of study, and up to $2,000 toward PastForward conference costs. One scholarship package is awarded per year.
Submit the application form with a resume, two letters of recommendation, and transcripts by February 28. Selected candidates may be invited for phone interviews. The program aims to increase diversity among people pursuing historic preservation careers.
